Tenor Stephen Wall will be making his Pacific Northwest Opera debut in Falstaff. He made his solo debut at Seattle Opera as the Young Servant in Elektra in 1984, and since then has performed in 116 productions over the past 40 seasons as supporting roles in productions such as Tannhauser, Lohengrin, Die Meistersinger, Salome, Elektra Boris Godonouv and War and Peace. He has performed with organizations throughout the Northwest such as Portland Opera, Utah Festival Opera, and Tacoma Opera, Skyline Opera and as an oratorio soloist with the Seattle Chamber Singers, and the symphonies of Seattle, Spokane, Vancouver B.C. and Sapporo Japan. From April 2020 to September 2021, he gave 100 impromptu opera concerts and discussion on his front lawn gaining him national recognition as “The Ballard Man”. After 16 years at the Pacific Lutheran University he now has a thriving home vocal studio.
