Soprano Serena Eduljee’s effortless high notes and full, beautiful tone have earned her opera roles such as Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, La Fee in Cendrillon, Blöndchen in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Despina in Così fan tutte, Cunegonde in Candide, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance and concert performances as Christine in Phantom of the Opera  at Benaroya Hall. Eduljee recently won the Encouragement Award at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and is a two-time first-place winner of the Washington State National Association of Teachers of Singing Annual Competition. Previous performances for Pacific Northwest Opera have included Countess Ceprano and Gilda (cover) in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Ida in Die Fledermaus and the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic Flute.
