Tenor Gregory Sliskovich has been recognized nationally for his “crisp timing and a keen sense of physical humor,” along with a “bright,” “flexible,” and “meaty” voice. Recent performances include The Counselor in the premiere staging of St. John the Baptist with In Series Opera, Dr. Blind in Die Fledermaus with Opera Theater of St. Louis, Arturo and Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor and Nick in La fanciulla del West with Nashville Opera. Other roles include Justice Antonin Scalia (Scalia/Ginsburg), Borsa (Rigoletto), Le Remendado (Carmen), Frederic (Pirates of Penzance), Pang (Turandot), Gherardo (Gianni Schicchi), Bardolfo (Falstaff), Nicely- Nicely Johnson (Guys and Dolls), Njegus (The Merry Widow), Little Bat (Susannah), Monostatos (Die Zauberflöte), Sheldon Segal (Later the Same Evening), Lyric Tenor (Postcard from Morocco), and Max Detweiler (The Sound of Music). He has participated in young artist programs with Opera Theater of St. Louis, Sarasota Opera, Charlottesville Opera, Nashville Opera, and Fargo-Moorhead Opera.
This summer he will perform Basilio/Don Curzio in Central City Opera’s Training Artist Performance of Le Nozze di Figaro.
