We at Pacific Northwest Opera, believe sharing the unique experience of live opera is important to the community in Northwest Washington to enrich and enliven it.

​Most opera ticket revenues cover less than 40 percent of the costs of producing opera. Pacific Northwest Opera’s ticket sales cover closer to 60%, but like other non-profit performing arts organizations, we rely heavily on additional support to bring you outstanding live performances, educational and outreach programming.

The Pacific Northwest Opera relies upon the extraordinary support received from the volunteer members of the Pacific Northwest Opera Guild. Throughout the year, they help with the promotions and fill important roles to help bring about our productions, fundraisers and special events.

The mission of the Pacific Northwest Opera Guild is to develop interest in, and facilitate the presentation of, live opera performances. Members volunteer time spent aiding in marketing, fundraising and educational activities. Tasks completed by Guild members suit a wide variety of skill sets and time commitments. All talents are welcome and are put to good use.
